If you are searching for meditation related information and techiniques and programmes, chances are you also want a peaceful,stress free,healthy and successful life. Unfortunately feeling stressed, depressed, panic, anxious have become so common in today’s society that we face a lot of problems in living a peaceful and calm life. Our thoughts are sometimes like turmoils in oceans. Often times our anxiety and similar behaviours hold us from achieving what we deserve. In a recent study, it was shown that anxiety and and panic was one of the major factors among people who failed at interviews and underperformed at work places. Won’t it be good if we could have a secret meditation technique which we could employ to get out of this mess ? Something we could use which could help us control our minds in a constructive fashion and help us stop those erratic behaviours and get out of tension and stressful life.

With that thought in mind, I began my journey to find out meditation techniques related information and programmes which could guide me on the way to a happy and fulfilling life. Well, it was not pleasant experience. I tried a lot of methods. I met yoga gurus, meditation experts and some spiritual mentors and found out a lot of them are just not truly knowledgable. I sooon found out they are after quick bucks and taking advantage of the hype created around the benefits of meditation. I tried guided meditaion, transcendental meditation with some experts and found that they themselves don’t now how to practice it at best. One of the mentors told me that I had high “negative” energy or attitude and this “negativity” in me was the culprit behind me not experiencing any positive results out of my endeavours. I was feeling even more anxious and stressed in life.

“What can be the solution for this” I asked.
My meditation mentor said” You’ll have to go for an advanced meditation partnership. This would help you get rid of this negativity. We have some advanced meditation methods based on ..psychic mojo…and the like ..and will help you become a better meditator. And these sessions are going to cost $350.”

I was so desperate to get back a peaceful and healthy life I said yes to whatever he said. I joined the session. I had to wake up earlier even when I didn’t have full sound sleep in the night (I was a sufferer of insomnia too, earlier) , but I remembered I read somewhere if you don’t sleep well , you can’t perform good meditaion. Then, one day he said my “negativity” would “destroy” my life if I don’t continue with those advanced sessions , and that meant extra dollars to be spent. I began to see the picture now. Spirituality
and meditation don’t have to be like military traninig bootcamps and definitely can’t be based on negative concepts like avoidance form destruction. In fact , if you know something about “law of attraction”, you’ll know that you have to concentrate upon what you want to achieve and not what you want to avoid. So, I terminated those sessions. In my experience, it’s tough finding an authentic meditation guru.

But my search for inner peace wasn’t over. I turned to meditation guides, guided meditation scripts, meditation CDs and mp3, meditaiton music and so on. And well, there were so many componies online trying to sell their meditation related programs and techniques, mp3 , it was confusing. Finding out which one of them would really work was an extensive and expensive process. But I stuck with them. Most bogus meditation mp3s etc. are nothing but kind of sweet relaxing music which are supposed to relax your mind. Unfortunatrly, most of them are not that efffective as their companies claim them to be. It takes a lot more than some nice music or relaxation waves to help you enter a state of deep effective meditaion which brings changes in your life. What I found out:-

-There is a direct link between meditaion and relaxation.The biggest challenge with meditation and relaxation is the fact that one will often be distracted with other thoughts as one tries to block them out. Bodily hassles like itching etc. also come into play. It takes a lot of hard work and practice such strong self discipline to meditate effectively and deply. Unfortunately, most of us are busy in our daily routines and finding time to do that hard ork and practice is quite difficult , not to mention we human beings also lose motivation from time to time.

- There have been controversies regarding true benefis of meditaion and as regarding the fact whether it is a religion or a science. Well, in my journey of finding all about meditaion, I also met some people who have had exceptional
results with meditation. People have successfully used it for being physically fit, have shown dramatic improvements in their performance at work places, as a great tool to boost anti-aging mechanisms of the body and so on. I met one kid who could not concentrate on studies and now boasts of the fact that meditation helped him get top grades at school.

- The major purpose of the meditation is to silence an already busy mind. There can be two approaches to it the first being concentrative meditaion where the person focusses his or her aention on the breath, image or sound to create greater awareness and clarity. It’s like you are focussing on something through a microscope. The other type is mindfulness meditation where the person sits quietly and reflects on his or her feelings, sensations and thoughts. They come to mind one at a time without effort and you get clarity of your circumstances at the unconscious level thereby increasing your efficiency.

-For those who want to live healthy and longer, meditation can be a boon.According to a report in the June 12 issue of Archives of Internal Medicine, one of the JAMA/Archives journals, the relaxation technique of transcendental meditation may decrease blood pressure and reduce insulin resistance among patients with coronary heart disease.Transcendental meditation is derived from the ancient Vedic tradition in India. The techinique has shown to lower blood pressure and its effect on other risk factors associated with coronary heart disease, including those linked to the metabolic syndrome, are yet to be examined in detail.

Where did the journey to meditation end?

As you can see, I had a lot of painful experiences. But, I never gave up. I NEEDED that healthy, peaceful, calm and successful life. In fact for anyone who wants all these qualities in life, starting on meditation programme on practicing meditaion techniques that work is great. It should be tried without delays and as soon as possible. So what are my secrets ? Well, I finally found some hidden gems which had strong, dramatic and comprehensive effect on my life. They have been cornerstones for my success and improvement in all aspects of my life. What wonderful meditation and self relaxation and improvement products these comapnies have created. I wish all those searching for the inner peace in life and how to be an effective meditator go thorugh them. But don’t take my word for it and check them out.
